Voting Information

Your vote matters — and we're here to make it as easy as possible for you to cast it.

Voter turnout is vital to a healthy democracy and strong local representation. If you're eligible, I encourage you to vote in the upcoming municipal election. Below, you'll find the various ways to vote. If you have questions about your eligibility or need help voting, reach out — my team is here to assist, including providing transportation to polling stations for both Election Day and the Advance Vote.

  • Already registered? Great!

  • Not registered? You can still register at the Voting Station, but it will take extra time.

  • Corrections to your information (e.g., name or address) can also be done at the Voting Station, but will also take additional time.

Ways to Vote

1. Voting Station

On Election Day, Monday, October 20th, 2025 polls are open from 10am to 8pm.

2. Advanced Vote

If you can't make it to a poll on election day, you can vote early at an Advance Poll.

If you are unable to vote through one of the above options due to a physical disability or because you will be out of the jurisdiction, you may apply for a special mail-in ballot.

Eligibility

*ID Requirements to Vote You must show ID with BOTH your name and your physical address.  ​ Acceptable ID includes (must show name + physical address): Driver’s License Alberta Identification Card Any Canadian government-issued card (federal, provincial, territorial, or local) with your photo, name, and current address

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen

  • Must reside in Alberta and place of residence is located within the jurisdiction on election day

  • You will also be required to present valid identification *
